CHICAGO - October 9th, 2026 - Ance, innovator in performance recovery footwear, announces a new partnership with the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), one of America's leading running organizations.
Through the partnership, Ance will serve as the Official Recovery Shoe of CARA, bringing its specialized recovery sneakers to CARA members and the broader Chicago running community.
"We’re excited to welcome Ance as CARA’s Official Recovery Shoe and to give our runners another resource to support their training and recovery,” said Tim Bradley, Executive Director for CARA. “Recovery is an important part of staying healthy and enjoying the sport for the long term, and we’re looking forward to introducing our community to a product engineered specifically to help runners recover between workouts and races so they can perform their best."
As part of the partnership, Ance will participate in CARA events including Ready to Run, the Marathon VIP experience and the ‘Go Run™ Turkey Trot, as well as CARA training sessions throughout Chicago, creating opportunities for runners to learn more about active recovery and experience the sneakers firsthand.
Ance Recovery Sneakers are designed to help runners recover smarter and immediately after runs, training, and races. Besides being very comfortable, the sneakers include features that runners won’t find in any other recovery shoes: a 360° adjustable arch support strap, ability to wear as a sneaker or a slide, acupressure points, and an integrated icing system. Together, these features provide support, compression, massage, and cold therapy in a single recovery shoe.
“I was really impressed by how comfortable the Ance Recovery Sneaker felt, especially after a long run when my feet needed to relax and recover” said James Diamond, Manager of Coaching and Training Programs at CARA. “I especially appreciated the wide toe box, comfortable upper, and adjustable arch strap, which allowed me to customize the fit for my high arches. I’m usually pretty high-maintenance when it comes to my shoes and rely on insoles, so the fact that I enjoyed wearing the Ance sneaker as-is really stood out to me.”
"We’re excited to partner with CARA and become part of such a strong running community here in Chicago," said Kunal Moudgil, CEO & President of Ance. "Runners put tremendous demand on their feet and lower bodies, both during training and on race day. Our goal at Ance is to make recovery a more intentional part of an athlete’s routine, and we’re looking forward to helping CARA runners recover better so they can keep doing what they love."
