Ice Pack Pocket

We have designed a pocket in the forefoot that houses a custom ice pack; icing therapy is known to aid in reducing inflammation, soothing sore muscles, and accelerating post-training recovery. It provides targeted cold therapy to relieve foot fatigue, swelling and general irritation in toes and bunions.

Study showed with statistical significance that cold (or heat) therapy immediately after exercise reduces loss in strength (24% loss in strength in the control group vs only 4% loss in strength in the cold/heat therapy group) and elastic tissue damage; moreover, it reduces muscle stress or damage (spike in muscle myoglobin - typically indicative of muscle damage or stress - was 135% in the control group vs. 106% in the cold/heat therapy group)
